Update

A lot has happened since I first started this blog.  Most significantly, we lost Tony's brother, Joe, on 17 January of this year.  Very difficult.  He died of lung cancer.  Don't smoke...that's all I have to say.  It's a horrible experience to witness someone you love suffer as much as he did.  R.I.P. Joe Kern.  We will miss you.

This is Bree, our Labradoodle (or Poobrador - she's more poodle than lab). She heard a gun shot and was trying to climb up on my hammock for safety.

This is Kayla, our new puppy at three months. Loving, head strong, feisty and smart.
